SELF STUDY COURSES
One way to fulfill the Joint Commission continuing education requirements is
to use Self Study Courses. Scientific Enterprises, Inc. has been meeting this
need for several years with a variety of self study courses for
biomedical/clinical engineering, safety and hospital engineering personnel.
These courses also are good for upward mobility or for employees to learn a new
topic to improve their productivity.
Each course has
self-administered exams and upon successful completion of the course a
certificate is issued. (Payment must be received before a certificate is
issued.) Additional exams can be provided at U.S. $5 for each exam i.e. extra
exams for a course with three exams would be U.S. $15.
The prices
include course text, exam(s), shipping and handling, grading exams and
certificates. If a person does not score 70% on an exam, there is one free
retake of an exam. Additional
retakes are $5 per exam. Shipping
